lol, it'll be good if she was on SuFu, shows that shes made a gd choice visiting this forum

is regent the one across from the newagency? if thats the one i think they have the occasional table tennis comp, looks fun

hey... yeah. i think it is. its the hotel just in kingsford. its got arguably the best deal ive seen in awhile. 6bucks lands you a steak + chips. but you gotta buy a beer to enjoy that deal. which isnt so bad. great chowdown for after uni.

its amazing but she was wearing what i'd always envision my dream girl wear. LOL. okay that sounded really cheesy. im not so much into the stuff on WAYWT. i mean... its nice and all but its just... not ME. im really feeling MilSpex, termite zee... even seenmy and stuff, nice clothes but i like my stuff a little baggy.

None of the jap denim in Sydney that I am aware of. I often wonder if a specialist denim store would be popular in Syd. I mean it would pretty much be one of a kind but I don't know if the demand is there? Especially with the mark up we are likely to get.

I do remember seeing a jap label on oxford street that has pretty recently opened - selling denim and leather stuff. I only went in for a sec but I am pretty sure it only stocks the one label which name I can't think of now. I don't think it was a well known one but it could be worth a visit

SP1 has/had(?) the Japanese LVC line. Levis store usually has a lot of the US LVC stuff.

I think SP1 still has the Jap LVC line

but then the Levis store (used to be the levis store) close to Centre Point has changed into a general jeans store (stocking various brands)

other than that, I wished we had shops like BiG over here and doing mad collabo like SE

I got my Japan 44501XX at SP1 around 3 years back. Do they still have japan LVC?

The store on Oxford you were talking about - is it Swell Store? That used to be the best store in sydney, first to have evisu in Australia i think...

Marcs also usually has some pretty good brands..like maharishi..but price is stupid.

wow. so many australian sufu-ers.

im just debating whether to get a pair of APC or imperials. i know the price difference is negligible so it all comes down to the cut. im rocking a sz 34 right now for my supreme denims, and a sz L for my tees. just dont want shit to look all out of proportion if you know what i mean...

from what ive seen on WAYWT, the APC's look pretty tight whereas imperial has the king model which is supposed to be baggier. will probably head down this week to go have a look.

still wish sydney would stock w)taps stuff though.

styleofmind, if u dont mind me asking, wats ur weight/height, that way we can roughly determine how things will fit on u

to me APCs are cheaper than Imperial as long as u browse Supermarket every now and then, i grabbed my new APC new cures for around 100usd shipped to me via EMS which was a sweet deal (100usd works out to be roughlt 125AUD?)

on the other side, the Imperials retail @ an'other for 260AUD, of course, we all know that the denim and cut is amazing and fades real well but if u r considering ur purchase on ur budget, APC might be better but if money isnt an issue for u, than i'd go for Imperials

another thing i noticed recently is that alot of ppl starting to wear Imperials too (well not alot but certainly there are some, and my friend and i were saying that Imperial might get blown up like Nudies before, seeing them everywhere. But of course, this isnt necesarily a bad thing, but personally, i'd prefer not to see everyone else with the same jeans as me)

regarding the cut of the jeans, i reckon the dukes is good as it gives u a nice straight cut, u can consider that as long as u dont size down too much (my pair stretched out wayyyy too much that i had to get rid of it). As for APCs, their rescues should be the baggiest cut c.f New Standards and New Cures. Therefore I would suggest u try them on (APC @ Incu (if Incu does not have rescues then look up Yellowpages for the shop names "Blood Orange" in Ruchcutters bay, they should have it as the last time i chked they did) and Imperial at u know where).

one thing i'd recommend is that dont rush into ur purchases, as i did many times and wasted my scarce cash

hey apu.

cheers. LOL talk about personal questions! next you'll be asking the size of my dong [12" for those interested ;)] but i digress...

i'm about 174cm, roughly about 70kgs. but most of the weights upper torso, used to swim and play rugby so i've got pretty broad shoulders... most of the shit i wear's baggy on me. i reckon my normal size would be an M for shirts and a 32 for pants. i could prolly squeeze into a 30 but yea...

the money isnt really a big deal. dont ask. im not rich. just happened to run into a little bit of money lately.

i dont really mind people rocking what i do coz when it comes to jeans, 99% of people [except for you guys] would really give a shit about them. plus none of my mates are actually into this [save for one] so it doesnt matter to me.

was thinking of heading out friday after uni to check out another:inch and incu. whats really bugging me isnt just the cut/model of things but the stretchy bits. i want it to fit in nicely with the size and the way i wear my things.

i honestly hate most of the stuff shops are carrying in SYD, i never buy anything nowadays other than from the internet

something about holding the brand new item in my hand and then handing over the cash just makes me feel good. i dont particularly like internet shopping. but im not adverse to it.

1USD = 1.5AUD roughly... theres quite a large difference.

on another note.

it looks like they are starting an online store in May. Hopefully they'll have some decent brands and items.

i was pretty underwhelmed when i went to sydney for shopping. i like what another inch, footage etc are doing but i like someone else said, you can pretty much get everything they stock on the internet.

i dont know about you guys, but theres just something about shopping in the store and getting it there and then that makes the extra coupla dollars that much more worthwhile. its like not having to worry about the postage or whether it gets lost or anything. ALSO, when buying labels like supreme etc. theres the offchance that someone gibs you.

exactly, sometimes over the net the price is even better

but then we have to support local suppliers otherwise we wont even have shops like another" and footage anymore

YES! support local suppliers. at least if you dont like it, theres a chance of a refund or an exchange hehe.
