i can see leggings working on the right body type if they were cut differently than a woman's legging would be.

the waistband would have to sit at the natural waist, not the hips,

and the legs should be slightly loose, so as not to be completely

skin tight.

worn with a longer shirt/sweater/jacket, i can MAYBE see this working.

particularly if worn with substantial boots or shoes... nothing with a slim

profile, as it will look WAY too feminine.

I agree. I think it worked well in the Marni show with the heavy knits on top. It's not like we're too far from leggings with ultra skin tight jeans and stretch denim. Shit, half of April77s fit like leggings on some people.

To work well, I think the top will have to come down past the ass otherwise it is going to look rather Peter Pan-ish.

With leggings would come the necessary acessory: a codpiece. And I dearly want to own a Dior codpiece. You with me on this Asterix? Let's join the bring back the codpiece campaign

A sleek and minimal leather codpiece:

It's water hardened and features silver studs for max reinforcement. Focus being on premium material, construction and of course modern fit. Imagine the wear these babies will get!

Here's one for you milspex:

I bet Supreme's gonna make their own version in german rain camo print!

Check out the Rachel Comey thread...I'm curious about what you think.
