does anyone know anything about asian art history? i have to do a research paper and i have no idea what to make the topic on. i would appreciate any suggestions!

some listed possible topics include: artists (painters, woodblock artists), particular works of art (taj mahal), type of art (japanese wood block prints, garden design), subject depicted in art (animals, dieties like krishna, meaning and symbolism of plants or flowers).

got the email today saying the decision has been made on my Swedish grad school application. since I'm not currently living in Sweden I have to call in (office doesn't open till midnight-1am my time) to find out what they decided, this has been the longest afternoon of my life..

ya, I do happen to speak Swedish but all the graduate programs (in Sweden at least) are taught in English. I think the same goes for most major graduate level programs around the world.

I used Tequila to begin with and that worked well too. Literally a couple of glasses in the evening with every mouthful swilled around for 30 seconds or so killed a pain that cloves and every over the counter painkiller couldn't touch until at least the next evening.

ok i checked out a couple of japanese cookbooks from foreign libraries and i need help translating. i have no knowledge whatsoever. if someone could post some translations for common ingredients and food words, that would be most appreciated.
