It gets old fast, and I have a feeling college isn't going to be more of the same. Not that I'd do hard drugs if I was in that "scene", but it looks refreshing to me.

well, hopefully you'll be accepted to nyu (actually parsons would be a better place if you wanted to make friends with the like of cobransnake/misshapes type people). if you hurry, you might actually get to hang out with dcrev. you're still in hs, so i wouldn't worry about it too much. college is def at least a little better then hs.

the scene is refreshing for about a week. then you realize how fucking ridiculous it is. you're going to have to take all the hours you devote toward sufu and take it to surfing myspace to see what a bunch of people you don't know are doing tonight and pretend to be their friend. and they won't notice, because they're all pretending too.

  • 4 weeks later...

I just read a bunch of this Malibu stuff and I just want to say:

For those of you who haven't been to malibu, you aren't missing anything. It is the most overrated beach town. The sand is rocky, and the water is dark. It's a chill place to hang out and have yogurt or somthing, but it isn't as pretty as you would imagine.

I like to hang out there, but for those who dream that it is paradise, will be very dissappointed upon their first visit. They have nice real estate though.

I'm from Calabasas, 15 minutes away from Malibu, 25 from Beverly Hills. I'm a victim of the L.A. scene, but when you are in the social circles of the likes of bh, westwood, hollywood, etc.. you get the most out of what L.A. has to offer. It's fun, and I love it.

But right now I am in Manhattan doing an internship. Meatpacking district is sick.

kossoyan, i believe you mean calablackless. pretty nice ranches in there, and no black people, hence the nick. i believe you about running in those circles though and getting the most out of LA. the closest people not immediately in those cicles can get is by having friends in them, and if you are indeed in a decent circle i shall hypnotize you and befriend you now!
