I need a new sweatshirt.

I'm going for thickness and comfort on this one. Something so soft i don't even have to wear a shirt underneath.

So far i've been looking at

Buzz Rickson

http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=78&products_id=391

and

SDA

http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=8375&category_id=&manufacturer_id=12&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28

Can anyone tell me whether the buzz rickson or the sda sweater would be thicker?

Does anyone else know of any other loopwheeled clothing brands that charge under $200 for a sweatshirt?

Depending on where you get them from... directly from Japan, almost every brand (McCoy's, Cushman, Deluxeware, UES, SDA, BR, TFH, etc) all charge under $200.

If the texture and slubbiness of the fabric is most important have you considered Oni Blues or PBJ 005's? I've owned both and they are both great, slubby jeans with amazing fabric texture, of the two I would go for the PBJ 005's.

Yea that's the thing with the SG's, they're pretty dang new. I've seen pictures of worn S5000VX and those were what made me really want raw denim. I basically own just ironheart 21 oz. and simon miller 13.5 oz raws. I'm looking for something definitely in the 14-18 oz (preferrably heavier) region. The reason i've been comparing the SG's and samurais is because i've only seen those two different brands in person. I've never seen nor felt PBJ denim in person before. Does anyone know of a shop that carries pbj in the Southern Los Angeles area?

Canada Goose?

Short style (so that i can wear it in the city without seeming bulky?)

Yea. I just realized that hahaha. I couldn't believe the prices and i double checked the pictures. Okay, i need a better site that doesn't cost as much as BiG but is legit....is this possible?

Edit: Is this website legit? If so, Fjallraven or Canada Goose? I've narrowed it down to the Chillawack. I don't like the length of the Expedition, it seems clumsy.

I get cold eaaasy and i need a snow-friendly jacket that's not really puffy.

I'm sorry if this is a bother to sufu, perhaps there is a better thread for this question (if so, can someone please direct me there)

Is this site legit for buying the jackets?

I found some English grammar and spelling mistakes in their faq which makes me want to distrust them...

Oh - I think they look great with denim. Especially when the denim is cuffed , slim fitting or slightly too short...

not the same shoes - I know - but u get a feel for the denim fit I'm talking about..Hayashi (former Denime) always wears Chukkas that way
