What do you mean by articulated? Like cut with extra knee and crotch gussets, or? Never heard that term used in the context of clothes before

If you want to give denim a try you can just get any old pair of jeans, there’s really not much to them

I think Endrime made some jeans with a bunch of extra folds of fabric at the knee if that’s what you’re looking for

Perhaps they could articulate their request a bit better? B)

Haha, my bad. I thought I was clear enough when I referenced Veilance and Lululemon. I mean articulated as in the clothing is sewn in a way as to improve mobility, and free range of motion.

I don't like regular jean cuts, simply not my preference. Just curious what the options are out there, as denim isn't (normally) stretchy so I was curious if someone had done cuts/sewing similar to those two brands in order to compensate for that.

 Image result for veilance articulated

Right on. Yeah, Endrime comes to mind as having done some weird non-standard cuts in the past. Overall, you might have better luck asking over on reddit; they might be more familiar with the other brands you’re referencing

In general, haven’t seen many jeans with that sort of features—as Roy puts it, jeans are pretty fundamentally an ill-fitting garment, and most higher-end jeans companies seem to embrace that rather than fighting it

I can't speak highly enough of the MF Okinawa Ranch Blouse. Love it. Details galore. Awesome fabric. Awesome fit.

New TCB looks good. Did you check out Bowery Blue Makers triple pleat? I really like it. Foxy has one and some pics in the BBM thread. It looks great.

If choosing a priority order, MF would be my numero uno.

However it has to both mate!!!

I want to get a Type 3 denim jacket, and have narrowed it down to a couple options.

Vintage Flat Head Type 3, in good shape (leaning towards this one).

Where can I find a superb waxed cotton jacket? Is Barbour the top of the food chain? Thank you.

For context: I am looking for a raincoat with hood & hand warmers. I generally don't have to deal with subfreezing temps, so the IH parka is probably overkill for me...

If you wanna have something special Barbour has some nice collabs with engineered garments and Margaret Howell. Their tokito range is also worth looking into.

Filson also springs to mind.

ELMC (Lofgren) has a few variants:

I don’t have experience with them, but I like the look of Dehen’s:

$300 for one is a bit much perhaps, but I don’t know how much it costs them to produce one in USA.

Lady White also has some 1/4 zips. No experience with their sweatshirt material, but their tees are nice.

I've looked at Lady White.  They are great, but I am not a fan of the pocket.

Dehen has been on my list for a while now too, but its hard to justify $300 for a 1/4 zip for me.

Anyone have any idea if anyone makes slim fit fatigues in a size 28? I know Orslow's slim fits in size 1 are a 30" waist.  Looking for something of that level of quality, so not Stan Ray.
