Don't Let reviews fool you. They are trying to tag this movie as Denzel's Waterworld. This movie was VERY enjoyable. And even in the critics reviews they say that. They like to say that it's another post apocalyptic tale, or that the movie is bogged down by it's message, what kinda dumb bs is that?

Simply put, this is a very entertaining flick, Denzel actually passed as an action hero (I'll let you all form your own opinion on whether or not he was bad-ass enough). Oldman was Great. This has to be the second best movie role for Mila Kunis since Forgetting Sarah Marshall. VERY NICELY STYLIZED, For any of you that are fans of the Hughes Bros, this is a very nice evolution in their directing, and like all their movies, it aint without controversy, the message and "Denzel Water World" for instance.

Plus a cameo By Tom Waits. See it.

I watch alot of good movies, like many of you, so I can tell you whether or not a movie is shit. Put it this way, between "The Road" and "The Book Of Eli", Guess which one was more entertaining. Yes "The Road" has this big book jackoff fest following, the movie was nothing special. Not saying it was shit, cause it was good.

But if I'm gonna compare them (which I am, as they are nearly similar) Road has good cinematography and decent, albeit muted story and atmosphere that keeps you interested, Where as Eli has better cinematography, more action, and a passable story to keep it moving. Keep in mind we are talking about the movie "The Road" and not the book, I don't see how anybody who has seen both movies can not at least find entertainment in Eli. One is more "human", while the other is more "fun"
