good performances all around, except maybe for bradley cooper who was overacting in some scenes. david o played it safe with the ending just like silver linings playbook

i thought this was so good. going to get stoned and watch again. cinematically it's surreal, and even the content - knowing where yohji was about to go - it all felt like a dream.

aight got stoned and watched this.  really really good, i'm surprised it has held up so well after nearly 25 years.

 

the part where yohji describes his company as an inverted mountain really hit home for me and helped me realize some things.

 

such incredible wisdom, what a legend.

edit p.s. i could only understand about 92% of what yohji was saying in english, and only 50% of what he was saying in japanese.

 

if anybody has some decent subs out there, I would be as appreciable as a fat kid who has found new ice cream cake.

Awesome!!!!! This movie reminded me of how sick dragons were

watched this yesterday, tradition to watch movies on christmas day/thanksgiving/any major holiday with my sis.

got to watch it in imax 3d which was entertaining, esp with the elves jumping around.

entertaining enough.
