himizu is ok... i'm not really a fan of sono though. but worth a watch.

afaik there's no better version of a brighter summer day... the version i have is cleaned up but i think it's from the same source (chi+eng hardsub). criterion are releasing it sometime soon.

Watched Reprise and then re watched Oslo 31 shortly after, the latter seems to be the far better of the two movies in my opinion. Regardless Joachim Trier is a remarkable director.

heard there were problems with criterion getting the rights to the film. lincoln center screened the film last year but i dunno if it was the original 35mm (they were charging $17 a ticket so i hope it was).
