inside man is on (my free) hbo tonight

anyone see it? i heard good things

i will probably be tuning in

I personally loved Inside Man, and so I'll be tuning in to watch it again.

Anyway, I saw Bourne Ultimatum and Sunshine within the last couple of days. Loved Bourne, and absolutely hated Sunshine (promising at first but turned into an awful horror/sci-fi thriller halfway through).

i just got done watching The Squid and the Whale. a bit painful to watch, not in the sense that it was a bad movie, but in that the family reminded me a little of my own as a kid when my folks got divorced.
A great movie. Some of the scenes were pretty shocking. I loved the way the family was portrayed and probably true for a lot of familes.

I watched Pi today.

Am I the only one on here who just did not give a shit about this film? Maybe I'm missing something huge here, and while many would disagree, i consider myself a reasonably educated and intelligent person, but I just took nothing away from this movie, which struck me as trying very very hard to be profound and artsy, but falling short and having very little meaning.

edit: i just realize that this post looks very assholish. I'm not trying to be a prick or anything here, just curious as to why others liked it, and why others don't.
