It was okay. To Rome With Love's story isn't compelling, a la Annie Hall, but Woody has something interesting to say about life at all its various stages. The dialogue was the sharpest its been in a decade, save for Whatever Works, the cinematography was great, and the setting was utilized so that it became another character, which was pretty neat. All in all its not a terrible way to spend an hour and however many odd minutes the movie is.

But you probably shouldn't listen to me because there is something terribly wrong with me; the only movies I find funny are Woody Allen films and No Country for Old Men.

^ i really dislike his work, and that interview really reinforces my disliking of him as a artist as well. 

 

 

you might dislike him as person, but regardless i find/found some of his work inspiring

This was pretty entertaining. Takashi Miike can just shoot everything.

shoulda listened, but it wasn't terrible, I kinda liked the everyday life sort of stuff

have a lot higher hopes for the grandmasters on the actual fighting front

then I think I will be cool off Ip Man movies for a while

 

 

 

pretty funny.  kinda like Curb but without Larry David.
