what did you think about Tree of Life?

I did know a bit what to expect having seen most of what Malick did and it went beyond my expectations. Also I was afraid that using sean penn and brad pitt would ruin it but not at all. This is unlike most recent productions and is just a brilliant movie. It gets you to think about yourself, about the human's place in the universe, about childhood, all of that in 140 minutes.

It's a movie that transcend the realm of cinema and art into a universal vision of life in general. The more days pass the more I appreciate it. Sure the cosmos and life images could have lasted a bit longer and the story is a bit long sometimes, but it doesn't matter at all. Probably going to see it again on monday.
