how much are you looking to spend? for $150, the AKG studio 240s are amazing, I've got them and they're absolutely amazing

thing is, i hate open backed headphones.. you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on.. for solid home use, they're unbeatable, but, i'm usually out when i rock headphones, so i chose to go for some sennheiser HD280, closed cans. i must say, the sound straight outta the box is hella tinny, but sounds alot more natural once it warms up.
