Hey, my mom is heading to NY and staying at the Affinia Gardens Hotel..

I wanted to know whats good around that area? I know Fifth Ave. isnt far from there.

Any shopping malls? or mainly boutique?

american apparel is on 3rd and 65th. i think. bloomingdales ad barneys are in the area. check the columbus circle mall thing on 8th ave. for more of a mall shopping experience.

there are plenty of great designer shops and boutiques throughout lexington / park / madison in the upper 60's - 70's

Ralph Lauren Polo Mansion on 72nd, Armani, Valentino + more

The "malls" would be Bloomingdales, Saks, Henri Bendel a little more downtown in the 50's and the Times Warner Center across town on 59th ( not much to see there though ) Next to those places there's Louis Vuitton, Pucci, Chanel, Tiffany's etc etc etc and every other damn store lol
