28s out of choice or cuz they're only ones available? I'm looking to get ATACs but still wondering if the cleats will be compatible le for the DZR shoes. I can't be caught tap dancing, tho I did buy some diadora roadies that were way too small (anyone around sz7 interested?)

28s simply because 25s have had really shitty reviews. I don't skid much, but if it wears down to red after a weeks use, eh. Not worth the money.

Plus, I love the feel of 28s in the back and 25s in the front. Oh so soft of a ride they are.

Someone should def buy this one, to big for me otherwise i would have bought it instantly.

What do you ride now? If one would ride this like a 'normal' bike, you'd wanna be riding like a 52 or so to translate over to this. Level toptube length is going to be pretty short on this.

Anyone see the new Trek Madones? Jesus Christ if they didn't rip off both Look and BMC's paint. WHY!?!??? Now I got something that looks like a Trek!????

Kit is nice though, if not typical Craft boring.

After ordering my IRO I've been looking at some other bikes and am slightly regretting my decision...

Any of these seem like they might've been better choices. I have a friend who would buy mine from me, would anybody recommend any of these off of bikers direct? My max would be about $450, but trying to keep it lower.

Alright, Thanks guys.

I'll stick with the IRO, part of the reason I was having doubts prior was because of the aluminum v.s. steel frame, I thought the kilos would have an advantage, especially with longer rides. Hopefully I'll be able to work up to 15 or 20 mile rides with the IRO. I've never had a fixed gear / single speed before, can't wait!

Sorry, after reading that I realize I was pretty unclear. wayoutwest is indeed correct. I was referring to the bikeresdirect bikes being aluminum.

Thanks for the info guy. I + repped the people that I could. I'll take pics when it gets here and maybe any modifications I might do.

I'm a real noob with bikes and I don't even understand half of the stuff you guys are talking about. But I want a bike, something for commuting? Can someone point me in the right direction to what kind of road bike should I get? There's not really much bike shops around here and I'm tired of wasting gas money, and this can be a real convenient workout for me as well. I'm 5'4 and my price range is $100-$300 for now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try a kilo tt from bikes direct or an iro angus

if those are too too much bikes direct also has cheaper options like the motobecane messanger and the windsor hour(both practically the same)
