Kiya does the NY store have any of the SEXI14s in a sz30-32? I would like to try them on in the store before I buy em. Im really looking for some black slim straight fit denim.

Yup, we've got them as of today, come in and try them on.

walked into SESF today and walked out with some Roy's. Thanks SESF. I also had a nice chat with a younger guy who is a yo-yo competition judge. He was looking at one of the yo-yo's you produce, and gave a little show. Fucking hell, I used to screw around with yo-yo's as a kid, but I have never seen anything like that. It was like yo-yo ballet. Amazing.

Self Edge x Field Trip x Flat Head Loopwheeled T-Shirt & More

We've just received a large shipment at all three stores from Flat Head and Real Japan Blues including a collaborative t-shirt between Self Edge, Field Trip, and Flat Head.

Field Trip World Is Max Bode, James Farsetta, and Jeremy Povolny. Max is an artist and former art director of The New Yorker magazine, James is a design and type specialist, and Jeremy is an illustrator and the founder of The Nursery -- an animation studio. All three decided to form as a creative entity, working with a number of clients across the globe including NASA, MTV, Toyota, Redbull, Self Edge, Miss Lily's, Okayplayer, Mad Decent, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Frank 151, and Vice Magazine to name a few. We're happy to have Field Trip design us a New York themed motorcycle tee printed on a Flat Head loopwheeled tee. Flat Head used a type of printing process which yields a thick print that cracks over time like a vintage t-shirt.

Along with these new t-shirts we've received a full restock of every Flat Head leather and silver item including all their belts, bracelets, rings, wallets, Wild Child wallets, sneakers, and even some t-shirts and short sleeve shirts. Along with those items we've gotten in a full restock of all Flat Head and RJB socks and jeans currently in production.

All these items from Flat Head and RJB are available now at all three Self Edge stores, check the online store for more photos, measurements, and spec lists.

one question: is there any user Intel regarding waist stretch with the new Roy's? I did a hot soak yesterday, and they shrunk up to just about perfect, but im wondering if I could have sized down to allow for 1" of stretch.

Don't, it's really not worth it. (Unless you like putting yourself through that kind of discomfort.) If they're perfect now, that's how they should be worn. If they end up getting too loose, then all you have to do is throw them in the wash and they'll be right back to where you like them.

Kiya, couple quick questions.

1. When is the restock of larger sized 11bsp?

2. I wear a 34 in SL-100x, what size would I be looking at in Roy's? Either RN or RS

Thanks!

The restock of the 11BSP is at all stores now, the online store will be updated with new measurements and the stock later today.

I'd go with a 34 in the Roy too, and just do a quick cold soak when you get them.

Kiya,

Do you guys have a customer service email address or do I need to call the store? My order was marked as "Shipped" on the 28th, but the tracking number shows the package hasn't been given to the post office yet. It just says: "Electronic Shipping Info Received" on July 29, 2012.

I was expecting the jeans this week, but if they don't get in the mail soon, that might not happen.

kiya you high?... :D

thanks for sharing m.!

Not high, but i definitely look high!

Is that the denim jacket Roy made for you?

Yup, that's the jacket. I love it because of how comfortable it is. I normally wear an overdyed Iron Heart jacket so this is like wearing almost nothing over a shirt in terms of comfort and weight.

Pretty sure I saw you on White Collar the other night, Kiya.

I was at Beer Revolution last week and some woman ran up to me and grabbed my arm and literally starting crying and saying how much she loves me and how she wants me to go over to her husband so he can meet me too. After a few minutes of confusion she finally explained that "you're definitely mozzie!! from White Collar!!". I was like "dude from Sex and City, right?" and she kept saying "no! you're Mozzie!"

About an hour later when she was leaving the bar she was still yelling at me from across the street "i love you!! i can't believe it!".

Hey Kiya,

Headed to SF next weekend (used to have SE down the street until I moved to chicago). Looking to pick up a new pair of denim - I've been wearing sugarcane oki 31 (which have gotten too loose all around) and naked&famous black slimguy 32 (which is a little loose in the waist and a bit short on the inseam but i like the cut from the thighs all the way down)...

do you have anything heavy (thinking 21oz+ to handle the snow here) that has a similar cut to the n&f and in indigo? i like the slim but not skinny profile but got big thighs so at a minimum i would think 11.5 for a thigh width

If you're coming into the SF store we'll have at least a few things for you to try on. Just come in and explain what you need and we'll give you a few things to start with and we can go from there. Don't worry about measurements too much, it's all about what the jean looks like on in person.

Kiya, what is the turn around on getting my RN04's hemmed a tiny bit and chainstiched back up? I live in central NJ and would have to take the train into the city. No mail in's correct? Mail backs? I'm only asking because I only have one day off a week, and two trips is about 10 hours on the train and $65 just to get there.

Thanks!

Tim

Turnaround for all hemming is three to five days. They must be brought into the store to get hemmed, if you can't make it back we can mail them to you.
