Most, if not all, raw denim will stretch out a little. So a lil discomfort at first will pay off later when they fit nice and natural.

I don't think Imperials stretch out as much as APCs do. So if you're sizing down, 1 or 2 sizes would do. If not, stick to true size like damienos suggests - after all, the Imperials are already cut pretty snug.

Not true. It depends on which season's collection you're referring to. I've got some regular-release FP polos that are tagged XS too.

But the XS's in the current regular-release collection at the Laurel store are tagged 36", yes.

Same difference, really - 36" is actually XS, dude. Size S is 38" instead.

i see. i'm not sure about the past season but the staff from the fred perry store says 36" is S and i've seen the size chart at Large, it says S is 36".

anyway, anyone tried the fp tees before? i'm curious whether the t-shirts would shrink alot?

You could give Nudies a go. They're available at NordicStyle along Club Street. I think the Regular Ralf Dry Selvedge is pretty similar to the Kings. With sizing, it's best to give the actual denim a try. I think the RRDS should set you back about S$350 or so. (I'm not sure about the exact pricing.)
