with all this talk about filson mackinaws ill post some pics of mine in case anyone needs references.

mine is a tag size 38 chest across is like 22. i was skeptical of the tag size since thats smaller than i wear. i usually wear m/l jackets so this fits a little slim which is what i was looking for. kinda wish it was a little bigger to layer a sweatshirt under but right now it works ok.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on a certain kind of coat that I'd like. I'm looking for a long, wool coat, preferably in dark grey or black. Sometime similar to this Raf coat below, but thicker. Basically, it needs to be a nice, clean design; no gratuitous zips, pockets, etc. Price range is approximately £200 - 250.

If your price range was a smidge higher and you happen to be a tall 46, then winq has the perfect coat for you.

eh.

i need something in charcoal grey. i dont wear black. or rather, i try my hardest to avoid wearing black.

no hood.

zipper or buttons, whatever. thinking i prefer zippers.

inside pockets plz.

im kind of wanting something with a belt.

Bless No. 34, grey chesterfield with a natural leather belt. Beautiful coat.

APC has a very similar looking one this season i think in navy and gray i cant remember exactly

I copped a gray APC pea-coat when i was home during summer but i haven't seen it on any of the catalogs or lookbooks...can anybody shed some light on it? i'll upload some pics when i get home tmrw. They had navy ones in the store if i can remember correctly.
