Otherwise, you could check out CB2, West Elm, or even IKEA.

just moved into a new place, just have a single room living with a friend, so im just concentrating on my room, right now im figuring out space, i really have nothing much, but would like to start aquiring collectrions of books and films and records again, just tough to start again from scratch

Just wanted to share a bit of my new living situation. I am now renting a (formerly) empty, freshly renovated flat in Berlin, with wooden floor, brand new kitchen and bathroom. It's got a small entrance corridor which leads to a 1/2 room (no heater or window, but it's currently used as a guest bedroom), large enough living room, and my room which is about half the size of the living room is also quite nice.

I was given a large piece of wood (former kitchen top), to which I added those decent IKEA legs, and found those 4 Bauhaus inspired chairs for 55€.

this is the kitchen. I didn't change anything to it yet and I still need to buy a microwave and a washing machine. Dishwashing machine was included.

Then I received a videoprojector, which I am yet to mount and place properly.

and finally, for now, I ordered a brand new dark grey sofa, because it was on sale (-50% from the 1100€ original price), in 100% Wool.

ive trying to move into a loft so badly. Man there are so many in toronto for cheap but you gotta know someone. Its basically impossible unless I want to live with someone.

thats much music outside the window. THis place is under 600

this one in the same building for 1200. 2 bedroom.

Yeah its kind of frustrating because everything I see on craigslist is at least twice the price and a rip off. I'm just going to keep saving cash....my lease expires in may, hopefully something comes up my then. This building is getting torn down in 2 years to make way for a condo so maybe something might open up. It would be cool to live in a loft space like that....if only for a year or two.
