Real McCoys M-65, size L.  P2P 60cm, shoulders 50cm.

Great jacket, great condition. See description on the McCoys website.

Reluctantly up for sale - it's at the start of developing real character.  I hardly wear it, so it's a waste - too many jackets, too few arms.  Plus it seems I've grown and I used to layer it!!!

If you're interested, DM me.  I'll happily provide more details and more (and better!) pictures.

  • 2 weeks later...

Letting go of 2 YM Factory loopwheel pocket tees, 1 grey & 1 navy both size 42. Took a gamble on the measurements and they came out a bit bigger than I was hoping. Washed & tumble dried on low to try and shrink them down a bit but not as much as I had hoped so they’ve been sitting unworn for some time.
Sewn entirely on vintage machines, bound collars and cool “freedom sleeve” style underarm gussets. Both measure 22.5” p2p & 27.5” long

$40 shipped each in the US or $70 for both.

@julian-wolf I would say this fit closer to a US large, or Japanese XL. Definitely feels like a more traditional western fit, the only note being the opening of the armholes to be a bit slim (6.5” across) which I believe is more of a stylization thing in tandem with the freedom gusset underneath. Hope that helps!

On hold -  CSF S406XXX

Faithful replica of the S506XX made during WW2, manufacturered in the summer of 2016 by the Conners Sewing factory. This jacket is an earler rendition of the s506xx repros made by CSF - The 'One Rock' tab and inside stamp ( jacket '#101' ) are evidence of this. Other unique features are the one piece sleeves and a T-back construction, which are rarer on original s506xx than the usual two piece grafted sleeves and single panel backs.

The jacket has been gently worn and loved but has a whole lifetime still ahead of it. But it's not getting much love from me, so maybe it's time to pass it on? Beautiful denim only just starting to crock in some places.

Approx measuements are:

Pit to pit (pleats not extended) = 22"/56cm

Shoulder to shoulder = 20"/51cm

Shoulder to cuff = 24 3/4"/63cm

Collar seam to base = 24"/61cm

Still a bit of shrinkage left maybe as it's only had a few hot soaks and 2 machine washes with 1 proper spin (?)

Price is £280 plus postage/shipping to wherever you live.

Thanks for looking!

New Cushman Type II size 40 raw, made in Japan

1_000000006199.jpg?1640590635

This pic is from Barnstormers, where I had bought it.

I'm selling a new 50's Cushman type 2 denim jacket in 40.

I was looking for my normal size 42, but could only find it in 40, and since the measurements were ok, I ordered it.
Then shortly after I found it in 42.
So I got them both.
When they both arrived, I tried on the 42, which fit me very well. Also I wanted to have a bit more space than in my other snug denim jackets.
So I'm selling the 40, unworn, still in it's packaging.

I had bought it at Barnstormers.
https://www.barnstormer.jp/view/item/000000006199

Approximate measurements:
Shoulder to Shoulder- 48cm - 18.9 inches
Pit to Pit- 54cm - 21.26 inches
Back Length- 61cm - 24.02 inches
Shoulder to Cuff - 64cm - 25.2 inches

Looking for EUR 250 + shipping.
Shipping from Germany.
I have done many trades here, on denimbro, and styleforum.
I can provide references.

The fabric is the same as the corresponding 50s pants: https://dc4.de/brands/cushman/cushman-lot-22177-5-pocket-pants-13-5oz-selvedge-denim-straight.html

Described on the DC4 site as:
"13.5oz Selvedge Denim produced on vintage shuttle looms
One washed - the jeans will not shrink after washing"

With the jeans you could go for the "royal road" (the Japanese call it that, read it on a few sites) and get these jeans, too, for the whole set up.

With washing, especially if you hot wash and then use the dryer, it might shrink a little.
On the BlueCylinder website (which is Cushman) it says:
"* Since this item has not been washed, it will shrink by 1-2 cm in both length and width."
Here is the page:

http://bluecylinder.shop-pro.jp/?pid=166446404

It's a great jacket. Solid denim, with all yellow stitching.
Cushman's founder Shiraki-san seems to wear it quite a lot.

https://ameblo.jp/travis8325/image-12778566667-15214155098.html
The embroidered version is also well done imho.

Here is a blog post by the top884 shop. The jacket seems to be sold out there, but they still have the pants in some sizes.

Selling two nice pieces.
First up, Buzz Rickson Chambray in Size L (Size 16-16 1/2)

Has handful of wears and a couple washes. It does not fit me anymore.

next, the Santa Rosa Boots, Dixon cut in Peanut. Size 10.5. Has a bit of wear and some cosmetic imperfections. My dog got to the sole, and I had the cobbler to sand away some of the marks. These conditions are reflected by the price. Still a lot of life left, and these are not available anymore (I think).

Both pieces 100$, plus shipping at your expense.

Over the past few years my feet have gotten bigger. I had no idea that was something that happened in middle-age. Is it just me?...

Consequently I have some footwear that no longer fits. Figured I'd list them here first in case anyone might be interested.

The tan colored boots are by Julian, a one-off prototype so he told me. Re-soled by Brian The Bootmaker (Role Club). Asking $600

The chocolate colored boots are also Julian but a stock model, similar to what he was providing for RRL, I think. New heel pads. Asking $600

The shoes were bought in Belgium many moons ago. Italian made & quite expensive. I recently had a new heel put on them. Not really sure what to ask on these... $175?

I believe they're all marked 11. I'd say the fit is in the US 10.5 - 11 size range.

If anyone is interested in any of these items please let me know. I can add more detail pics.

I had something similar where my feet got slowly wider, maybe as the rest of me grew slowly wider with home working…

Anyway, I took a few of my shoes to a local cobbler - he stretched them on a machine for 48 hours each and now they’re all good. May not work for the boots but probably would for the shoes - definitely worth checking out as an option. Only cost me £5 per pair so not the end of the world if you don’t get enough stretch.

You can also buy shoe stretchers.

Thanks, Unders. Actually I have had them to a cobbler friend for stretching. I couldn't really feel a difference. I will say that the tan pair definitely got a bit smaller after the resole. Something I'll be aware of next time.
