Nice but subtle @unders. Ive not posted for a while and when I took some photos of mine I wasn't able to capture the super subtle wear so far - but I think they look really like yours so if its ok with you I'll say mine are currently looking very very much like yours Unders. Like my pair a lot - but its maybe the way they hang as much as the wear at this state...

Appreciating everyones updates - and some pairs looking really very well worn at the 4 month mark

Been washing about once a month, maybe a bit less. Mostly at 40C. Missed a handful of days (Xmas, New Years and a few sick days). Even if they are the risiest rise I think it’ll take a while getting used to medium rise jeans. Loving them more each wash.

These have been worn everyday since the start, but perhaps like many others the pandemic has put a big damper on the fading. These are perhaps a bit darker in real life; looking at my original pictures they are ever-so-slightly lighter than they were new. I have not washed them yet, and given the pandemic may not have to for quite a while.

The fades on the rear left pocket are from a metal cat thing my wife gave me specifically to fade in these jeans. I am normally not into that but she was a good sport about me getting another pair of fancy jeans I didn't really need. The ear points are going to poke through soon, I think.

Shameful update. Def taking the slow and steady approach. Currently on Day 8 of dealing with covid. Feeling good and hopefully on the other side of this thing! The plus side is that I can now fit into all of my pre-March lockdown shirts and jeans.

really great looking jeans and updates! not much fading happening here. would estimate about 3,5 months of very low-intensive, working and studying from home wear. judging from the updates here it might not be a bad idea to start washing none the less, roping and marbling looks nice! still, I think mine too will look great with time and I never went this long without washing before so that’s nice for a change I guess

a couple of pictures from gloomy southern Sweden too, while the rest of the country got an abundance of snow recently this has been the look of Malmö for the last few months.. longing for spring and non-pandemic times!!

My grubby paws finally let go of my 2nd pair I had originally gotten from @shredwin_206 but traded @Dan_F for one size smaller to the one and only formerly known as @sonisone on IG-Georgie is an awesome person, dresses so slick-I had to pass them on. They will be #81 and I’ll let them introduce themselves later once they create a username on here. But for now, here are some dark pics, worn once or twice by me and fit pics of Georgie.

I wish I went with a shorter hem myself. the cuff makes the hem look too narrow to some of my shoes.
Too lazy at the mo to send the jeans to be hemmed.

Not much to update on fade wise, however as my thighs and butt disagree with cotton thread I did a small hand stitch repair on the crotch. Usually that means it’s time to wash, I’ll post an update pic of the whole jeans after the wash. Here are before and after pictures of the repair. Definitely not my prettiest work but I feel like it keeps the essence of the S40’s
