Happy jeans: TCBxSufu S40s WW2 contest thread

Recommended Posts

Across the board the fit pictures look great, in my opinion.  It looks like they work really well on the women taking part, I guess due to the high rise.  Glad to see considering all the sizing concerns

@Tiro very old-school way of doing it!
It's also great to see you being back. Sometimes it only needs a "little" contest.

The last fit pics have also been great, it seems this silhouette works wonders on people with small sizes (as seen above). Tomorrow is the day of truth!

@Tiro the old school Sufu way is to size down 3 and say f*ck it :D

nice pics, it's making me second guess my O/W choice haha

Yeah it’s been my way since back in he days when Naoto taught me and it still is. Old school is my school... ;-)

1 hour in the tub, then an hour in the washing machine to soften them up a bit by getting rid of some starch... (they’re in the washer now)

haha @DoitsuJin I’m not too far off from sizing down 3 :-D
I used to always go for the bigger size when I was in between sizes. This one time I picked the smaller one... ;-)

Pics later, however they fit great no need of anything to stretch them.

OW?

Both items pristine, tried on just long enough to break my heart.

If only it was a 34 :-(

Only quibble is that the lottery gave my the goddamn tiger stripe camo and Wabash. Not one single period accurate pocket fabric...

Well, might as well throw them out then huh? :D

Not to be picky mate, but...That’s just a picture of a mail bag. You planning on fading that packet for 18 months ;)

Haha! Had the infamous indigo hands for days when I briskly agitated the yoke & full length of the waistband at the end of a soak to loosen/soften up the fabric ... good times!

Indeed. It’s all part of the process. I would seriously miss this if I had gone OW.

The fit is pretty good! They are looser than most of the cuts I've been wearing lately but that's exactly what I wanted. The fabric is amazing, I love that it's so dark and crisp.

Sorry for the quality on the pics. They look and fit a lot better in reality. Will try to take some new pics in a day or two!

Edit:

Oh fuck, I didn't change those ugly socks before taking the pictures lol
