Happy jeans: TCBxSufu S40s WW2 contest thread

I ordered 31 OW. I have a size 32, 31, and 34 TCB 50s. The 31 feels best on me so I went with that.

I also own a sz 32 sugar cane 1947 - I would defintely not get a 31 in those - that waistband is pretty snug. 

I wear a 32 in earls apparel stuff - gung ho camp trousers and fatigue pants 

32 in LVC 1955 - Wish I had gone with 31 on these. But the measurements on the 32 1955 are pretty similar to the sizing chart for the s40's on TCB's site.

Thanks @erk. My normal size is 31 but I usually size up to 32 for a looser fit. I figured the WW2 is a looser cut so I went with 31. I have SC Okinawas in 31 and they fit well.  I’m 5’10” and went with 31 length. I’ll wear them either way. Appreciate your reply.

officially put my order in at 32x30 OW!

with a o/w 30 inseam order [with big waist worn on hips] I reckon I can get a mini-cuff for a while, then will prob shrink to a wide-waist-wide-leg no-cuff ankle swinger [dependent on how the rise etc. holds up ... ] that is going to see a lot of washing...

@81611 my advice is always size up but I like things roomy: @erk and @Jared_Lee are the experts at that 31x31 range...

I'm a little concerned about being in the 31 range as I'm carrying some extra covid related weight, but I'm hoping I can shed it by August.

rather than setting goals to aim at, I am accommodating my fatness; giving it space to shift & allowing for the much loved diaper butt as things move along ... 

not expecting to win style or fade points on this one!
