What I do know, is that there was a huge problem with people going to the beach for ‘Spring Break’, and yes some were in Miami, because, you know, they’re healthy and young and couldn’t possibly get infected or spread it as such. *bangs head against wall

Something similar happened here, a group of UT students took a trip down to Mexico and like ~20 of them came back and tested positive.

This is beyond idiotic. I have a friend who is a sexual health doc but has been transferred to CV19 care like much of the NHS. She’s seeing plenty of fatalities amongst people in their 20s and 30s. The media really cocked up when they reported this thing only gets older folk with existing health conditions.

This came from the Chinese reported numbers, which were either not true or reflective of a completely different make up (more accumulated damage from smoking among older folks maybe?).
