Morning Mike, have you ever asked FW's if they've considered making boots n' shoes, seems to be the only thing missing from their repertoire.

Morning Neal - they’ve collaborated with Zip Stevenson previously (3 or 4 styles of boot) on rebuilds of vintage, and they sold moccasins in 2010 and 11 albeit they were just rebadged shoes from some U.S. supplier.

I’ve never asked them directly if they’ve plans but truth be told I’m not sure if they’d come up with anything better than is currently available. If they went middle of the road engineers or such they’d be swamped by the competition and if they went Clinch price level I don’t think they’d sell enough to warrant the effort. But now you’ve asked me ...

^ Nice.

@Duke Mantee don't you have the same jacket in red buffalo check? Or are is it just similar?

Btw we need more back shots of those "1922's"   :).

You might be confusing this ‘Brodovitch’ with my ‘Wigwam’ Doc - derived from the same ancestry

Don’t you think I look enough of an arse without showing the other 2 cheeks?

... I can feel the inner peace and warmth emanating from the ever-perfected absence of humanity within that 1000 mile stare ...

edit: great jkt btw...

Thank you - nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal

good ol' Georg Simmel came to some understanding of the stare in his account of shifting patterns of human behaviour in the advent of urbanised modernity...

“The interpersonal relationship of people in big cities are characterised by a markedly greater emphasis on the use of the eyes than that of the ears… Before buses, railroads and streetcars became fully established during the nineteenth century, people were never put in a position of having to stare at one another for minutes or even hours on end without exchanging a word”

...  perhaps it still works as an analysis of the blogo-forum-verse ... just needs an addendum on comment culture ...
