I personally don't care much about a personalized leather patch, especially if it will make the whole operation cost more. Honestly the bog standard DD 1003SXX 1943 would already make me more than happy. uneven pockets sounds like a nice touch to make this pair unique.
Measurements look so good..

JD, I think we should stick to a traditional 5 pocket repro. I think those ranch pants would be too polarizing.

a not too wide version of the classic s501xx would be perfect for me.

I have 2 lvc ww2 and one is definitely wider than the other. I love both but the 'slimmer' leg version is the one I like better

I’m in as well. Just as long as the pocket bags will accommodate current gen smartphones.
Back pocket arcs would be nice. No special patch is fine with me.

For me, the DD-1003XX (1946) in new denim sounds exciting. Trying out a new fabric of theirs is probably the best part of the contest.

Not too hung up on the small details, but flannel pocket bags and laurel top button is always nice.

But what's this 1944 model Ed?

I signed up for this forum solely to say I'm in, super hyped for a brand I've always wanted to try. Hopefully something not too slim

Hell yeah, great news!

@edmond, any confirmation that they'll be able to do longer-than-usual inseams? I know their standard inseam lengths were gonna be dealbreakers for some folks, myself included.

I'm super in for just about anything '40s or '50s, but—as others have said—would strongly prefer for the details to be consistent. The questions of "fabric, cut, buttons, pocket bags, era" seem like they could all be a single question.

I'm onboard with what Bartles listed: early WWII 40's repro, laurel/donut buttons, flannel pocket bags and a denim other than the mainline denims from WH.

Yup defo after shrinkage (34 inseam would be awesome) that would help make me commit.

What is a 6.7 x 6.6 yarn count?

(As a side note, my preference would be for non washed because WH's one wash process really destroys the leather. Not a deal breaker.)

are these the painted arcs? I can hardly make them out but what I think I can see looks awesome! I’d rather have them come without the pre aged leather patch though.

ooooff...what the hell, I'm in for WWII Warehouse LOL

+1 on raw/non-washed, should tack off the cost as well. Really hoping we can use the new fabric (hell, the new WWII in general), but maybe just do custom pockets.
