501XX4EVER 2,214 Posted November 25, 2018 So has anyone splurged on a pair of the 30th anniversary models?
Broark 8,514 Posted November 25, 2018 I don't think they're out yet. I'm thinking about getting a pair of the XX whenever they are released.

Broark 8,514 Posted November 30, 2018 Looks like they'll open up online sales next Friday, now is the time to decide if I really need a pair!

Broark 8,514 Posted November 30, 2018 Definitely not a question of need at this point. So is the only difference between the 30th anniversary line and the vacuum sealed pairs is that they have a special serial number and are vacuum sealed? I think I'll just get the normal ones and save myself the 3000 yen.
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,736 Posted November 30, 2018 Yep, that's the only difference I'm aware of
Maynard Friedman 565,192 Posted November 30, 2018 The other difference is that you merely want the normal ones but need the vacuum-sealed ones.

It looks that way, I must say the 805-Type is peaking my interest as it is something I would like to see more of, a 1980's-ish model. The phrase "low-rise" is putting me off though, need more details.
Broark 8,514 Posted November 30, 2018 Low rise is a definite no-go in my book, but I'd be intrigued to see some photos if you ended up with a pair.

Yea, same for me regarding the low rise, I have a suspicion that it may be their way of making a Skinny Jeans Model for this special run, or it may be like the L.V.C. 1978 model that everyone seemed to think was amazing except for the low rise.
cusswords 1,122 Posted December 7, 2018 (edited) The online shop is up with measurements. Everything is marked as sold out, but I’m assuming that’s because the stock may become available some time tomorrow. Edit: and that’s what happened. Sales are now live. Broark 8,514 Posted December 7, 2018 (edited) Saw the website earlier and just now saw their Instagram post saying that overseas orders will be delivered after the new year. So guess I need to decide if I really want a pair or not. Edited December 7, 2018 by Broark Clarification

I was saying that the only difference between the vacuum sealed pairs and the 30th anniversary pairs is the vacuum sealing process and the unique serial number. Both use the same new 30th anniversary denim as far as I know.
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,736 Posted December 7, 2018 Yes this is also my information. But no stress, the vacuum sealed pairs are alread sold out (except for size 28)
Broark 8,514 Posted December 7, 2018 Made the decision between those two options easy! Just trying to decide if I should get the XX's or not now.

edmond 866,715 Posted December 8, 2018 Should i do a 36 or a 38? Front rise is a bit low?
pomata 2,091,373 Posted December 8, 2018 Front rise on my pair is 31 cm. I think you can get a 36 Edmond. Probably the perfect Size for me is 33 but I love a relaxed fit and the possibility of frequent washes
MJF9 2,514 Posted December 8, 2018 @pomata they look really good - wearing in nicely. 31cm front rise is 3cm bigger IIRC than the 30th anniversary model as per the Denime website...

Or it should be a 31.5 or 32 on a 36? I would 38 be too big?
