Fading pretty fast, and I got some nice faint marbling from the two hot washes I gave to shrink. Pretty happy with how they are looking. Once I give them a bit more wear and get them hemmed, I'll post some pics.

I picked up this unusual deadstock raw pair from Yahoo auctions last month and have discussed them a little with @beautiful_FrEaK but they’re still a bit of a mystery.

They’re Orizzonti era, pre-1998 and although the weight is unknown, I’d say about 13.5oz. They have a paper patch and rounded front pocket rivets (with varying degrees of oxidisation) with aluminium backs and no coin pocket selvedge, which I think indicates a 66 style. But they also have a v-stitch, hidden rivets and offset belt loop, which are more commonly found on XX models, so adds to the confusion and makes them something of a hybrid pair. They also have red selvedge!

Measurements (BiG style), size 32:

  • Waist - 33”
  • Front rise - 12.25”
  • Back rise - 16.5”
  • Thigh - 14” (yes, 14!)
  • Inseam - 39”
  • Hem - 9”

Colour is a little light in the photos.

I ever get this too, back then. Denime with redline selvedge and the weird things is, fabric and some rivets from denime and some others came from ues.

I think is sample jeans? But, are Denime and Ues have a same manufacture? Hahaha still a mystery from me until now. Lol

Wearing my 220s today I’m not used to the high rise is it something the you get used to after wearing as I’m not sure these are for me ?

The rise is definitely high and does take some getting used to; I’m rotating between a few different pairs at the moment and for the first hour of wearing the 220 I find myself saying ‘this feels odd’ then the day goes on and I stop noticing. I find that if I tuck a t-shirt in the rise feels better.

Yeaaah, I for sure could have sized down to a 30, but since these haven't been through the dryer yet, I'm sure I can get another half-size of shrink if I really needed. I'm liking them as a slightly loose fit, anyway. It gives them a unique spot in my wardrobe.

Just received one of the new Denime raglan sweatshirts produced by Warehouse. Always very excited to see raglan sleeves.

It’s very fluffy on the back and it’s very thin which could work well for the coming warmer months

It definitely has a vintage feel - very similar to old 70-80s Healthknit sweats that you could find pretty cheaply on eBay years ago. So I kinda like it, but I’m not blown away by the quality.

Also sizing is a little bigger and longer than most regular Warehouse sweats, but I wouldn’t size down.
