You mean it's german along the lines of breaking your spaghetti before cooking them? Heard that one recently and was a bit shocked...
Anyways, here are some fitpics after a week of wear. They are already starting to lighten up in a few areas and are almost ready for a wash, but I'm trying to hold off for another week or two and wash them about every two weeks or so.

Got some creasing/wrinkling going on as well, especially on the lower legs! This is after an initial 40c wash and a later 60c one.

My denim hasn't crinkled that much as of yet. I'm gonna give them a second, warmer wash soon to shrink them down some more and then will likely not wash them until the creases and fades are a little more prominent.

Yes, they tightened up a bit everywhere which was what i hoped for! But they didn't lose any more Inseam, strange enough.. That means they are still about 2 cm longer than I asked for. Not really a biggie though!

Yesterday, we went to the movies and watched the latest Tarantino. It was okay but he definitely made better movies before...

Besides being the quality manager of the company I work at, I'm also responsible for the wastewater treatment at our plant.
It's an anaerobic plant from which we get biogas to use it in our company's CHP (combined heat and power plant).

Since we had some issues with a too high pressure in the pipeworks, we had to open and clean this heat exchanger today.

Honestly, we expected it to look worse but after cleaning, the flow rate and pressure is way better.

Thanks Bobbo. I asked them if any more sizes will come around, but the answer was no at least for the time being.

      Fabric: A14 oz denim with a very light pink selvedge-ID made by a blend of US cotton. It was made to capture the essence of vintage Cone and I'd say it turned out very well. It starts out flat and uniform before it hits water, then it crocks like crazy (which you kind of can see in the pic above). Should get some nice vertical falling, going by the washed samples. The fabric is made exclusively for Denimbridge by Yamaashi mill in Okayama on a Toyoda shuttleloom. According to Shingo it's a small factory which is an important factor for both Shingo and us in this project.

      Since there's been talk about doing a Denimbridge contest for a few years now I was thinking now might be a good time with a special release. The jeans will be made in August so a contest could be possible to start late September.
      The prize: The winner will win two prizes: a pair of Denimbridge jeans, sponsored by Denimbridge, and also a prize from Göteborg Manufaktur.
