The people in the north aren't very friendly if you say "eee", "thou" and "duck" in every other sentence in a loud cockney accent :P.

Update on the north of england:

We caught some rain in leeds, much sun in scarborough. Beautiful scenery in scarborough, leeds has a great food offering, talking chinese and italian food, craft beer and so on.

Pics below include scarborough north and south bay first and kirkstall abbey in leeds at the end, pizza and beer are at tapped co in leeds.

I too have enjoyed pizza lately. You can get a real fine kebabpizza in Norrköping!

I don't know how much actual wear I got on these jeans. I think 3-3.5 months.

@maharu I like it very much, still! A somewhat small but pretty town, lots of good music, some decent pubs and my home of my dear football club IFK Norrköping of course. Someday I might move back if I ever decide to leave Gothenburg.

Went to visit a friend in SLO. Took some film photos but haven't developed them yet but have some crappy pics of the denim. Wear them often but have a boring life so not much is happening. Also I feel like every pic I've uploaded I'm wearing the same stuff haha. I swear I have other clothes :blush:

Love SLO! My fiancé went to cal poly so we go there all the time. Edna valley has some great wineries and the hiking is amazing

Oh nice, it's an awesome place to go to school. Sadly I was only there for the weekend but I loved it. First time I've gone in the last 10 years or so. Ddin't get a chance to do any wineries but did some great hiking and wondering around while I was there. Visiting SLO makes me realzie how much I miss living on the coast haha.

Really? Given the time I've worn my pair I think they develop on the quicker side. At least compared to most other brands I own/wear.
How often have you washed them yet?

I’ve had them since January and they have been washed 3 or 4 times.

I'll admit, I haven't worn these as much as I was initially because they're more tapered than I prefer.
Here's where my pair is at right now. I'll try to put some more regular wear into them going forward!

      Fabric: A14 oz denim with a very light pink selvedge-ID made by a blend of US cotton. It was made to capture the essence of vintage Cone and I'd say it turned out very well. It starts out flat and uniform before it hits water, then it crocks like crazy (which you kind of can see in the pic above). Should get some nice vertical falling, going by the washed samples. The fabric is made exclusively for Denimbridge by Yamaashi mill in Okayama on a Toyoda shuttleloom. According to Shingo it's a small factory which is an important factor for both Shingo and us in this project.

      Since there's been talk about doing a Denimbridge contest for a few years now I was thinking now might be a good time with a special release. The jeans will be made in August so a contest could be possible to start late September.
      The prize: The winner will win two prizes: a pair of Denimbridge jeans, sponsored by Denimbridge, and also a prize from Göteborg Manufaktur.
