Damn @maharu they look so good!

 I will send in my pair to göteborg manufaktur for hemming. I'm sad to see the roping go but the inseam is far too long for me I'm afraid.

I'm on way less wear than you guys although I really enjoy wearing them.

living homeless/unemployed life in full ;)

already 3 month (worn almost everyday, except for several days when its too cold, in -10C you want something warmer). almost no signs of fading or whatsoever, don't know how you develop significant progress people. great jeans overall

I got my pair back from hemming at Göteborg Manufaktur. Great job done by the guys! I will try to catch up with all of you :) Will try to take more photos of them soon!

Agreed, i appreciate that this place is a 'denim forum' but the vast majority of denim discussion has already been deliberated to the nth degree, i/we can't expect new  members to read an entire forum before posting but a lot of the subject matter does prompt much eye rolling from the forum-geriatrics, it's only life away from denim that offers the chance at previously unvisited musings.
 
I always wash my work jeans outside-out on a 60° (no spin cycle, line dry) it looks like yours have been spun and/or left in the machine.
The surface of my work jeans is impregnated with fine sawdust so if i turn them inside-out the wash lifts the (now) wet creamy sawdust away from the surface but it gets trapped inside the leg tubes and cant be rinsed away so settles back on the surface which requires a second rinse cycle to remove the residue..when really all they need is an outside-out wash.

      Hey guys, I have some very exciting news to share. Soon I will release a collaboration I’ve done with my good friends at http://www.goteborgmanufaktur.se and Shingo-san of Denimbridge, sewn by the one man army Kuniyoshi-san of Double Volante in their new project Denim Base. 14 oz greatness made in Japan with a really nice vintage vibe to the fabric and a lovely olive herringbone fabric for the pocketbags.

      Fabric: A14 oz denim with a very light pink selvedge-ID made by a blend of US cotton. It was made to capture the essence of vintage Cone and I'd say it turned out very well. It starts out flat and uniform before it hits water, then it crocks like crazy (which you kind of can see in the pic above). Should get some nice vertical falling, going by the washed samples. The fabric is made exclusively for Denimbridge by Yamaashi mill in Okayama on a Toyoda shuttleloom. According to Shingo it's a small factory which is an important factor for both Shingo and us in this project.

      Since there's been talk about doing a Denimbridge contest for a few years now I was thinking now might be a good time with a special release. The jeans will be made in August so a contest could be possible to start late September.
      The prize: The winner will win two prizes: a pair of Denimbridge jeans, sponsored by Denimbridge, and also a prize from Göteborg Manufaktur.
