Just received my first piece from Yoshi - I saw the their Saunter Coat in indigo sashiko fabric via Wild Frontier Good's CC Show feed, and knew I needed to have it.

They're receiving interest from a few stores, but seems like nothing firm yet.

In the mean time, purchases are available via messaging them on IG.

Starting life as a tree in the forest, I was brutally chopped down by a Canadian lumberjack in a checked flannel shirt (not from an artisanal Japanese company) and my branches removed. From there I was transported by river to the sawmill. There, I was sorted, had my bark removed and cruelly trimmed into a rough piece of lumber and left out to dry. Finally, I was taken to a factory in a lorry, where I was cut into smaller pieces and fashioned into a pallet.

Now I sit in a warehouse with tins of baked beans stacked on me, until I’m transported via forklift to a lorry, taken to a supermarket, unloaded and taken back to the warehouse again.

Repeat.

That’s all folks.
