Mido+Dior denim. It was running intermittently, so I took it apart and there was a screw missing in the movement. Found a screw the proper size from a spare AS movement and it’s been running good for the past few days.

After speaking to a watchmaker about my zodiacs, both of which had amplitudes in the 160s, and realizing that buying a bunch of cheap vintage watches wasn’t a good financial decision, I splurged on a new modern watch. Nothing fancy, but a Swiss auto chronograph. And the colors match my de rosa. Looking forward to getting it.

I had a Mido once. The self winding function was pretty cool.

They are getting smaller with the new 39mm Tudor options but still too chunky. I wish Rolex would follow suit as well.  Much prefer the size of the vintage models on my wrist.
