Time to mend the first holes. Experience tells me that it’s better to get to stuff like this sooner rather than later. Just wish that our usual brands would make sturdier pockets.

Posted this in the LVC thread, but thought I'd post this here as well. I'm no longer wearing these daily, but rather 3-4 times a week. Probably means I won't need to wash them too frequently! The seam puckering and roping are surprisingly nice.

Have these been one washed? You’ve got some nice whiskers going there!

Been wearing these almost daily on my national tour, getting some serious wear into them. (Sage Chieftains)

so this is post wash. the fabric has really soften up after the wash. it feels really soft and smooth right now. something i'm not really used to coming from 20oz and over for the past 5-6 years. something good for a change, i'll see how this develops

It’s terribly quiet on this front isn’t it?! Compared to the TCB20’s comp we’re lousy at updates. Anyways, I’m at 5 washes now. Love the colour, should have sized down 1.

Just a heads up that I am not out of the contest but I have been extremely busy due to some unexpected family problems since basically the start of this contest. This is my second update since starting the contest and this picture of the jeans were taking at the end of March. My friends and I camped and hiked the San Jacinto trail and I decided to do it in my jeans which wasn't as bad as anyone would think. These are the 3sixteen+ 40bsp in size 30 with 2-3 soaks and no washes at almost 7 months (started at the beginning of october). I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still in the contest but will be posting less frequently

I've been wearing them every other day. I'll just keep at it. Yes, it's a relaxed fit. I have noticed with Iron Heart that my 634 were fading much faster than my 1955S.

supima cotton is smoother and less coarse in texture so it has more give and resistance towards abrasion, less abrasion means less indigo loss...if im not mistaken as well it also absorbs indigo better hence contributing to their slower fading properties.
