That patch is in such lovely condition despite the fact that your jeans are just fantastically beat up. Great stuff!

I hope everyone's having a great autumn.

Mine seems to have been crazy busy, with a new job, then over the last week my nipper, once shown as a cheeky toddler on various threads here, went off to uni. In between all that managed to find enough sunny weather to dry those jeans, which came with me on my trip Saturday to say goodbye to T Jr. Along the way there's a bit of the greatest Italian deisgn.. my neigbour up the hill seems to have swapped his Ghia-designed Alfa for a Zagato.

There will be a bit of a dump of photos here, starting with them before wash. I can't see what the photos look like until they're online (running out of disk space!) so I'll probably end up deleting a few from my second post. In an ideal world I'd have time to edit these; my Fuji doesn't give natural colours, unlike our dead Sony RX100, but I think there's at least a few photos here give the look of the jeans pretty much dead-on.

Pre-wash, post repair... this is pretty much dead-on for colour.

Post-wash... the whole of the knee area and beyond is all wearing through. WE will follow up with some more heavy darning, otherwise the whole lot will go. The last wash, right side out, brought out broken stitches all over.

@Paul T Back in September, you asked what we'd all be doing with our jeans at the end of the contest. Well, I'm going to try to keep wearing mine until they look like yours. Those are tremendous and would be worthy winners. Cheers!

Was hoping to wear these more, but got a bit distracted with my Ooe, MF and CSF.  Here is my final submission.651384376_OcHpP3SmRmAsFk4R07YjQ.thumb.jpg.56a2587cd2e00b701c5b92147b5384a7.jpg7QWZO91PQIuHPhrIeFHsOw.thumb.jpg.dbf692da86cc5f048fa1a5c505ceeca3.jpgGlaKVIM0TQeIqewW7ufaIg.thumb.jpg.e4ae2b65286547263b4ab5321dfe0b03.jpgfullsizeoutput_4dc2.thumb.jpeg.f0240abdacd4167e94bda10e0c476ca2.jpeg867719396_IqQdlazSlCUqiKFS8sELg.thumb.jpg.cda38715bf1b42ef37c856e6831ae03e.jpg799498978_AIlXVTdRhiTyFQu1zoOw.thumb.jpg.c152d869a1f105c6a581c7c72ccf0741.jpgfullsizeoutput_4dc0.thumb.jpeg.2c6a277948c8b4e4a129f921d7c806b9.jpeg

@Paul T I can’t believe the nipper is off to uni. It’s really been a long time here hasn’t it. The jeans look great ( Paul’s and the rest) these are the most washed out I’ve seen from Paul, very cool.

I wasn’t going to post any pictures cause I know I’m not in the running. I’ve had a bit of a love hate relationship with this pair. Mostly the back pocket size feels really weird and I can’t stop going back to my 50s and a pair of 517 orange tabs. I’ll see if I can take some though.

There are so many incredible looking pairs in this and the results thread that this is going to be very difficult to call. Well done to all involved, you and the TCB 20s have done yourselves proud.

Congrats on everyone who joined, honestly one of my favorite pair fit wise and really liking on how the fabric react to everybody, i can really see the fade similarity which is very interesting but of course no one pair is the same .

altho till this day im still sour by no getting the chance to see how the indigo pockets evolve.

^ agreeing: a great pair, still reckon mine have a year left in them, but for now trying to come to terms with 'normal fit' jeans (straight leg at the actual right waist size without huge hem or all the extra hardware...) ...

and the loss of the pockets is a great pity, but Im real glad we got the chance for a second round...

so thanks to everyone for their great company, thanks to the mighty @volvo240thebest for sorting all this out and to the inimitable @Bobbo for kicking off the world tour all this time ago!

its been a journey

sounds good @volvo240thebest

and agreeing: @FreeCharlesManson ... I can't see them either... and from what I remember they were strong contenders... try uploading to imgur and sharing links from there... [best way to put un-mushed pix for final pix... use the 'huge thumbnails' option]

same as per Final Submissions thread - just more pics...

Had to wrap up things in Moscow the week before last week - 8 years of Moscow are coming to an end and I will be having more time to spend in Berlin & Scotland.

Packing was pretty hectic, but in the end we got it done. Turned out to be almost a 20” container...

To make things even more eventful, I had to fly to Scotland on a short notice.

I managed to wash my pair in Scotland and even got it to dry, but the light wasn’t good enough for pictures on the last day.

Finally, I managed to take pictures yesterday here in Berlin.

3-5 full machine washing cycles - I pretty much lived in them until the end of September. Next steps would be some basic repairs and further moderate wear.
