bartlebyyphonics 3,955 Posted May 2 (edited) nice... first step: this stone [can be found in many different places, a good learning stone] used with an easy to sharpen blade shape: something like a nakiri (preferably carbon steel as is easier to sharpen); and japanese traditional single bevel knives take longer but are the simplest in terms of technique... but the most specialist in terms of useage also: blenheim forge do look real nice: but I do wonder how they stack up to some of the trad japanese blacksmiths (best of what shown above: takeo murata's buho line [very affordable] & teruyasu fujiwara are recommends... (not above, but some wants) takeda hamono is similar price to blenheim but has serious rep, also masamoto, konosuke, masakage very reputable; & shigefusa as grail unicorn...) - never directly compared tho... volvo240thebest 16,957 Posted May 6 haven't worn the contest jeans in a while but I hope to be back soon. I lost much weight and with the cinch completely tightened the jeans feel a bit weird, and apart from that the drain cleaner stains are horrible. Looks like I have stains of ambiguous provenance on my legs... Anyway I plan to mend a patch soon and come back to action soon.
MileHighEvertonian 1,360 Posted May 6 No, no, no, Volvo. Don't use a patch to hide the drain cleaner stain...hide the stain in plain sight with a DIY denim bleaching project!

bartlebyyphonics 3,955 Posted May 7 solid fit and look @Murphy Zhang literally paste the web-address of the IG post - for yours: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw__UPJnoKG/ then the superfuture site automatically embeds it: in order to display your post address I had to choose to disable the auto-link feature (which the site offers once you have pressed 'enter' after you put the web address to the IG post...) keep the looks coming in the tcb and mr freedom threads (enjoying the double cinch action)

aho 675,972 Posted May 10 Damn...I'm out for the foreseeable future. I've gained too much weight, and even accounting for that and sizing up on these, they're still unfortunately too tight now. Will try to get some decent progress pics up. Currently denimless :O
