the jeans look great, now that you washed them a bit too!

work in progress here in casa volvo, repairs look made by a 7 yr old, I know, but fuck it, as long as I can slip back into them... They are still absolutely massive, now I weight 82 kilos and these fitted me well when I was 92.

It's a long way to go, this first repair leaves much to be desired but I did enjoy the whole process. I will surely make more repairs on my other tcb jeans soon. Just need to sort out decent scraps and some thinner clothes.

@Pedro Yes, this thread has really been fascinating as of late. Beautiful Fades. I did chat with Inoue about a getting a larger size up in my 50s and he informed me that all of the Stock has been washed this go around. I'm not sure about the 20s, but he made it sound like he's having trouble keeping up stock for raw and washed, so It's now just washed.

thanks guys!

also when i was taking my photos a wasp flew into my room and started buzzing around

I'm thinking now they may be a bit large and that's why they're falling apart. Waist is a little big even with the cinch as tight as can be, in general top block is very roomy.

More peasant repairs. Zorro style

I am back wearing these as much as i can for the final stretch. I hope the mediterranean heat and frequent washes will make the difference in the home stretch....

BTW I am really digging the 20s look without a belt and cinched to the max. Something i never thought about in the last months.

Im also delighted to have discovered that yours truly is aknowledged as a "style icon" on a chinese denim forum. I would have preferred to be described as a "style genius" but I can live with that too...
