very nice

if we are in kitchen-shot-land

at risk of appearing like a good psycho: but spring cleaning does involve a good sharpening...

l-r: funayuki-nakiri-2x yanagiba-usuba-petty [all carbon steel, either white and blue steel there; apart from the cheapie stainless steel factory made yanagiba - the smaller one]

worrying mostly for fish and vegetables [and a chef's knife /gyuto/ doesn't quite get the specificity of all those different tools on show - apologies if inappropriate to put in... ]

trying to encourage Foxy to get his cutlery to the level of his craft gin... [I remember he had talked about learning to sharpen... it changes cooking experience significantly]

Joking aside, good knifes are still on my mind - probably something from the likes of Blenheim Forge or Hohenmoorer Messermanufaktur...

nice... first step: this stone [can be found in many different places, a good learning stone]

used with an easy to sharpen blade shape: something like a nakiri (preferably carbon steel as is easier to sharpen); and japanese traditional single bevel knives take longer but are the simplest in terms of technique... but the most specialist in terms of useage

also: blenheim forge do look real nice: but I do wonder how they stack up to some of the trad japanese blacksmiths

(best of what shown above: takeo murata's buho line [very affordable] & teruyasu fujiwara are recommends... (not above, but some wants) takeda hamono is similar price to blenheim but has serious rep, also masamoto, konosuke, masakage very reputable; & shigefusa as grail unicorn...)

- never directly compared tho...

haven't worn the contest jeans in a while but I hope to be back soon. I lost much weight and with the cinch completely tightened the jeans feel a bit weird, and apart from that the drain cleaner stains are horrible. Looks like I have stains of ambiguous provenance on my legs... Anyway I plan to mend a patch soon and come back to action soon.

same size; more relaxed than 50s, but with cinch back can get waist to preferred size... (or size down as is generally more generous, or even size up and use cinch back more strenuously with a baggy back side and volume all over...)

thanks cheer.

got my 20s already, nice and comfort.

i have another question: how to embed instagram page into the post?

solid fit and look @Murphy Zhang

literally paste the web-address of the IG post - for yours: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw__UPJnoKG/

then the superfuture site automatically embeds it: in order to display your post address I had to choose to disable the auto-link feature (which the site offers once you have pressed 'enter' after you put the web address to the IG post...)

keep the looks coming in the tcb and mr freedom threads (enjoying the double cinch action)

That cat

She is just a tiny rescue cat with a lot of attitude (and very sharp claws).

Damn...I'm out for the foreseeable future. I've gained too much weight, and even accounting for that and sizing up on these, they're still unfortunately too tight now. Will try to get some decent progress pics up.

Currently denimless :O

You could cut the waistband under the cinch and use the cinch to still hold it together - just saying...

no excuses!

The amount @aho has gained over the years I'm on Sufu, he has to be the biggest man of the world :D

I started at a size 29, and now need a size 38 (at least in Japanese sizing; 37 if brands made them)...

My TCB's were a 36!
