They are, but they should shorten as they stack up with wear. If they don't, I can have them shortened so it's not a problem.

Cool mate, sounds like you'll be golden and live in that thing. :)

Been enjoying the "One Star" and black horsehide Type III from IH. Picked up the One Star late last year and the Type III just recently. Leather is pretty insane on each, though the horsehide on the type iii needs more break-in than the cowhide on the one star did.

Gday guys, just after some general advice. Im looking to buy a cockpit RAF sheepskin leather jacket. I sent in some measurements and told im inbetween sizes. My chest is about 37ins and was recommended a size 36 for a slim fit or size 38 for a standard fit.

Unfortunately I cant try on so any advice would be appreciated. For a heritage model im leaning towards the 38. Ive never had a leather jacket so im not sure if they stretch out or if the wool inside will eventually squash down etc..

@cander49 bothe of those IH are looking super good! I have my eye on Fine Creek but as a IH fanboy the Type III leather looks sweet. Looks like they are sold out onkline. Were you able to try them on before you purchased them or did you just buy online and hope for the best?

Nice @mrman ! I've got both the FH cafe racer and the single rider jacket (collared, 1930s style). Stunning leather, the rider jacket definitely has the most distinctive leather I've ever seen.

What size did you go for in yours? I've got my eyes on the Delraiser offered by @kiya and co.

Here's pics of mine, bit old now, quite a bit of wear since.

^Thanks! Have to agree, the leather is something else! Wanted something more badass when I bought this, I have a RMC cafe racer also that is great as well (like your FH)! Have to admit, I haven’t worn it much since I got this.

TOYS McCOY TMJ1727 -- Been wanting to buy a jacket like this for a long, long time but could never convince myself to pull the trigger. Moved to Tokyo a few months ago and decided that now was the time. Spent the last month or so trying on every jacket I could find in my spare time, lots of awesome jackets but nothing that fit right. Ended up at the Toys Mccoy store a couple days ago and they had one of these left in a 44. Brown core horsehide, removable mouton collar, lots of pockets and embellishments. A little over the top I guess, but that is what I wanted :P
