I got a bit lost in this thread. What was the conclusion on that guy's Diggers?

They're either 1920s with added waist buttons, or 1900s with added belt loops?

The Diggers seem to vary a bit in construction. My 1920s are from the Warehouse store in Osaka, and the cinch and belt loops are made from a significantly different piece of denim than the rest of the jeans. Also, online stores seem to sell them raw, but the Warehouse store had them all as one wash.

... because of these variations I wouldn't be surprised if that guy's Diggers are just another combination that Warehouse have tried.

I think the consensus was that it was more likely that the guy added buttons to his 1920s, since adding belt loops is a more complicated process...

yeah, I saw this in the new issue of Free and Easy... any Japanese readers know what the article says? I'm guessing it's talking about WH's new direction and it's new backpocket design (which is only ok in my book... looks too much like CK's backpockets for my taste)

They look very nice, looks like you give them pretty regular washes which is something I am a big fan of. But... Jeans are no good no more there is a hole in them.

I'm not sure I really dig them... I hope they don't phase out the "classic" DD's! At least tell me that they're using the same denim...
