I'm really tired of silky orientalism, all that levantine potentate cosplay has to stop. Someone like Lemaire and his vaguely SE asian, 80s Issey-inspired, washed-out peasant colours is mining a much more interesting and original facet of "the east" or whatever you want to call this shiny shit.
