TCB: happy jeans contest

Sugar Mountain, admittedly my pair have also been stubborn but no worries, with the extended length of the contest I'm sure we'll all get in our wear eventually! I need to pick back up my wash cycle, they haven't touched water in about a month...

Howdy all!

Unfortunately my new chamber music festival job had forced me to wear slacks, ties and loafers more than I like. I still wear regularly the TCB's as much as I can, and love them more than ever.

My plan for the summer will be to ban the word shorts from my dictionary and just wear these jeans all the time a more formal attire is not asked for! Ball's sweat and frequent washes hopefully will do it for me haha!!

Here's some pics, 9 months, since last photos the jeans had 2 washes I think.

nice pics Bobbo!

yeah I second Paul T's wish of seeing some vintage Swedish steel. You have to do it us for us! I'd be all happy even with random pics of Volvo 240's covered in rust and laying somewhere in the Swedish countryside. nothing makes me more happy than this!

I am committed to the contest for the duration and know that the TCB will turn out great eventually - patience is sure to be rewarded! However, it's been good for me to put them on hold for the past two weeks just to refresh my view of them and then it'll be nicer climbing back into the jeans in a month or two.

Thank you Rano. It's just normal nothing outstanding like Aho's though.

Greetings from Ingolstadt Germany. Here's a fine sample of Teutonic engineering, while we wait for Bobbo!

I said I wasn't going to do this, but guilt has gotten the better of me. I apologize for my absence. I have a worthwhile denim update, but lent my camera out a few weeks ago and still don't have it back. The lens on my phone camera is cracked as well. I'll post as soon as I can.

Everyone that's been posting, nicely done. I'm sure you noticed my approval.

two of my new flutes finally arrived after months and months. I am so happy with them, they're much better than the stolen ones. these are made out of cocuswood, the best timber ever for period flutes. Unfortunately the cocuswood is now almost extint. these were made out of a cocus stock that has been seasoning for 120 years at least. the guy who made them inherited the stock from an old flute maker in Paris.

me and one of my mates killing time between 1st and 2nd half. wearing the porky's 66 here. the TCB, at least on a size 36, are way too wide to look good with a pair of brogues.
