Essential: The Perfect Blue Blazer

I'm looking to find the platonic ideal of a blue blazer that is still SuFu approved.

 

I need an all around blazer for an on the go city layer I can wear with jawnz during the day for work and out afterweard at night without looking like a prep schoolboy or a post-frat bro. Fuck gold buttons. 

 

The closest I've found so far is Mr. Porter's rec of a Borgioli piece, but I'm not a fan of the exterior stitched pocket line.   http://www.mrporter.com/product/328980

 

Any brands or recommendations for an extremely versatile piece would be helpful.  

 

I'll likely be pairing it with basic oxfords or white CP Achilles lows.

boglioli and lardini both make unconstructed blazers. i like those. fuuma and kasper are the only sufu dus i've seen wearing blazers irl. margiela, kva, dries, jil, prorsum, lanvin, balenciaga. i dunno. i also like alexander mcqueen. they have a distinct shoulder cut that really stands out.
