So Winter is approaching... Let's talk Winter Boots

So I live up in Montreal and am looking for sturdy, but classy boots that will last endure the infamous winters here. Any suggestions?

I've been looking up Firenze, Redwings etc.... but I require some expert opinions. Not too knowledgeable of specific brand qualities/costs.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated, cheers

DO NOT buy boots with vibram christy soles or natural crepe soles for the snow

they fucking suck and you will slip

the tread on these acne boots looks nice and grippy though

(what's the name of this type of sole?)

lol, what u know bout snow, socal boy?

i've worn boots with christy morflex soles in the snow and they were OK, that's my anecdote. crepe sucks for any type of wet weather.

maybe fracap scarponcini? OG shit n u can get different soles. typical hiking boot look.

maybe timbs? also OG shit. the 40th anniversary super boot will be very hype and official.
