What about Jeans Jackets ....

Was having a root around my loft (attic) and came across these that have been stored up there for some years.

First up, CWG from 50's/60's? Would be good if anyone had info on these.

Next up. One very faded stormrider, presumably from the 70's. Again- if anyone can help date...?

Last up, not strictly jeans, but a Wrangler duck jacket. Info would be good.

check the pocked tag on the lee stormrider, if there is a R and a MR after the lee on the tag , then its from the 70s on, if there is just a R then its still from the 60s.

looks like the lining has horizontal stripes wich they had till the 70s i think, after that they started doing vertical ones.

and then check the storm rider tag on the inside. the earlier ones were embroidered , i think thats until the end of the 70s, after that they just printed it on.

Opinions on fit pics please.

The jacket is very slim and fitted, especially around my armpit area.

I guess I can only wear fitted/slim tees or tops with this jacket.

2nd pic - I wouldn't normally wear it buttoned up but I am able to though. As you also can see my belly bulges out a bit :o

yeah its a really nice jacket and not a bad fit but i think you could still size up one, bearing in mind it will shrink a little when you soak/wash. How much was it?

90 GBP

The shop only had M and XL. It fitted okay just a bit tight in the shop. I just wanna make sure they don't look ill fitted.

what shop was it?

Selfridges

That does look too small, especially in the shoulder area.

That tend to be my problem, when sizing tops in general.

A large would fit more comfortable around the shoulder area, however the arms and body length would then be too long.

I guessing over time they would stretch out a bit/

I got my Steam Locomotive db57xxx today! Im wearing it this very moment.

This is by far the best denim I've ever had.

Just one question, the denim on this jacket is sanforsized, right?

I'm pretty sure it's not. You might want to soak it before wearing it.

So it will shrink like hell if I soak it? Damn It will be too small if it shrinks.

Or denim jackets doesn't shrink that much?

JacoBlue: I will take some fitpics on sunday, since Im working tomorrow and have to attend to a birthday party in the evening. But the jacket is so damn great!
