all the jeans at the store has a red tab

but i purchased a pair of vintage jeans not selvage winter 04 or 05 i forgot,

and it had a navy tab

but from then on all the jeans i noticed wer red tab

just had this discussion today. Levis used to be very anal about those labels a few years back, not even black labels were allowed at the right back pocket. No it seams like only the placement matters, so I agree that it's ok as long it is on the other back pocket.

All rivets are stamped "Supreme" as well as the buttons on the fly, the tag on the waistband, and the tab on the back right pocket.

your point about tab placement is accurate though i think.

From the picture it looks like the red tab is on the outside of the right pocket. Levis puts their red tabs on the inside. So maybe then it's ok?

I must be blind...because that tab is obviously on the outside of the left back pocket (if you are facing the back side of the jeans that is)...Levis only has copyrights on tab placement for the inside right back pockets. Everything else is fair game.
