HC-SF-43, 710xx.  3 months into the contest, 4 months wear.

My jeans spent a some time yesterday fixing a broken air conditioner for a friend.  She couldn't really afford to hire the technician (150 for parts, another 400 for labor) to fix it, so I figured I could do it myself, since I'm most of the way through my engineering PhD and am handy with electronics.  Had to replace the motor, the outtake line, and a few other pieces associated with the motor, which was a huge pain in that tiny room.  Fortunately, she didn't have to pay someone $400 for labor.

Everything associated with this job was dirty, from the filthy water that leaked all over the floor, to the grime all over the old motor, so my 710s are about as dirty as they've ever been.  Time for a wash tonight.  The A/C is working well again, which is good, considering that her house was 91 F / 33 C degrees when I started working on it (it's really really hot in Utah right now...).

Edit, post-wash:

MBB
Sports Challenge

My Muay Thai gym was celebrating it's anniversary so I thought it would be a great time to convince a friend to spar with me while I wore my MBBs.  It's definitely hard to get your leg up to block with these heavyweight bastards.

Not too much going on yet but they've broken in nicely. I'm always surprised by how soft the IH fabric gets with wear.

Here is a couple pictures for my submission for the great outdoors, last week a buddy and I took a week a traveled Canada's north. We drove over 5,500 over the span of 6 days exploring two of our three our Northern Territories. This being the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory. We also the traveled to Alaska, which is part of the US. The great thing was the sun didn't set until 11:20pm and stayed light for most of the night, you could read a book by the light of the sky at 2:00am!

I know in some of the pictures I am posting you really can't see the fade progression, but to me it's more about the journey you take with the jeans and not what they look like at each step of the way!
