Bought my first Denimasa Jeans few months back, and I've been enjoying them.

Since the previous thread has been locked, thought I can share my pair with the community here as well. Those who have purchased their Denimasa Jeans can also share their fit and opinions as well. So yeah, lets get this thread going!!!

Cabriolet in Size 28

Ordered and the parcel came in just 3 days later.

Cant post more than 10 pictures, hence I will just post up the pre and post soak fit pictures!

Fit is alittle tight, hoping for it to stretch out and settle down.

Cant wait to see the fading of this pair.

Once again, thanks bob for the service and jeans!

And I'm very happy that the first Denimasa pants have just reached the Jeansmuseum of heaviest fadings in Zurich, Switzerland.

Thanks a lot Bob for those great pants.

I hope to display some strong faded Denimasa pants in the Museum some time ahead like many other well loved and retired raw denim projects who have found this safe place to survive for ever here:

It's just a shame, that all those fading evolution on all denim projects are taking such a long time.

In fact I love the slow fading but my raw denim life should last about 10'000 years or more.

I need at least 2-3 years to burn down one pair of jeans and about 3-5 years for a denim jacket.

But soon I'll switch to my next denim project and I'll downgrade one of my current outdoor pants (Denime or Nudie) as my new work pants

Hello Ruedi, how are you doin my friend. Combs'space one the Denime see to have a bit bigger and wider tan Nudie's and surely more beautiful... Is that because knee on Denime is wider and have more space.

^^^ jonmhenderson, not sure about next one, but the one after next will be DENIMASA, right Ruedi? haha.

^^Hey John

I'll tend to downgrade my Nudie pants since they seem to be in poorer condition alreday. They'll probably not last a long time so the Denime pants will follow soon.

^Denimasa

Yeah the Denime pants are wider, so that's why you get bigger combs. The combs on the Nudies are probably my smallest combs I receive since I usually don't wear slimmer pants and I don't like it too thight.

You can compare with my 23 oz Strike Gold office pants, where you can already recognise the first fadings on them and see the size of the honey combs

After waiting for a long time to arrange a meeting with the denim mill in Japan to visit a spinning division to see how the denim fabric of DENIMASA processed from the start, which process an organic cotton that growing in Japan, and also imported some African cotton, that will be used in some of DENIMASA collection.

Too bad no pics inside and around the mill.

Just a pics of fresh harvested cotton bolls, really wish you guys can smell the fresh raw cotton bolls...hope one day camera can record the smell as well.

There are few species of Japanese cotton that used in making denim, but the most popular, categorize by color, are bright beige color (most general one) and light brown color. Both are medium staple cotton fiber types, as a characteristic of the Jap cotton.

natural brown color cotton, kinda mixed with beige and brown fiber, used in some special denim with some special dye color.

natural beige color cotton, normally used in most denim fabric.
