I've been given a pair of raw ED77's but they're a touch big and before I soak them I was wondering if anyone could let me know how much they're likely to shrink. I've been told that they're sanforized so I doubt it'll be much...

One other thing, is there any point soaking raw sanforized jeans before wearing them?

Some " sanforized " jeans shrink a lot like xx unwashed denim would still though labeled as sanforized ..

Why not just soak them inside out and hope for the best ?

I know this sounds horribly mercenary as I was given the jeans but I'll sell them if someone who has had a pair confirms that they don't shrink noticably. I'm thinking (possibly incorrectly) that soaking them will affect their resale value.
