Anyone have an idea what cut Gryphon is wearing in the skinny lookbook? 16cm? This is the fit I want. My 19cm Diors seem super baggy now.

I think those are the first pair of jeans that got released, 17.5, however they're most likely tailored. SLP boutiques offer free tapering on their jeans though and can get you that effect.

Sounds good, I found 16cm in black on Rakuten for $370.

If you are a 31-34, there are a couple pairs of jeans on railso.com that are around $200 shipped to US.

The varsity was also made in the women's line if you are a smaller size and want a cropped fit as seen on the runway. The SA I talked to on Greene St said that they've done away with the gold / silver chains and both lines now have the silver chain starting with aw13. I'm normally a 44 but if I try on a size 38 in women's for outerwear it fits better in the sleeves and a bit more cropped, however it does obviously fit narrower in the shoulders but you smaller dudes out there might want to try it out... there's a lot of guys that buy across the board as it's the same pattern just cut narrower.

are there any online shops selling women's varsity?

Cheers!

These are the ones I was talking about for $370 before shipping. Haven't seen anything cheaper new. I've been on the fence about switching to SL jeans though.

@bigjeans - It's not on the website as it's scheduled for a later delivery, sometime in September. I have the buyers allocating a few of them for me for clients, as do other SAs for pre-orders if that makes sense.

A size 38 in the outerwear is between a 42 and 44 in mens. If you are a 44, I'd suggest around a 38 in this for a cropped fit like on the runway. I tried on the varsity at the Green st store in a 44 mens and 38 womens - the 44 was a bit big and fit more like a "normal" varsity, the 38 sleeves hit right at the wrist bone and the body was more cropped I definitely preferred the 38 fit.

Are pre-order allocations seperate from those instore or are pre-orders deducted from what the store will receive?

Will we see the other sizes being put up back again on the site when stock rolls in(for the womens varsity)?

Does anyone know if they sell these boots in size 39 and if so where can I find them?

I'm having trouble finding a pair of SL boots that I like that fit me, curse my midget feet. What is the fit like on their boots? I'm assuming that since I wear size 39 (italy) oxford shoes I should be looking for size 39 boots?

Well, that's the end of the varsity...

Yeah, I mean it looked awesome on Justin Bieber...

You want cheap design referencing high school sportswear by a high-profile, easily digested brand peddling faux-rock and you wonder why it's worn by wankers?

I hadn't caught Bieber in it ..I just caught this on the entertainment section of the news. But yeah, you're right..To save SL Hedi has to come up with a real collection this time, one for adults..

Hedi doesn't fuck with adults (as in....).

Any advice on the new 4cm heels harness boots sizing? If i'm a 43,5 should i go for a 43 or 44 (i'm assuming most online retails don't carry half sizes)? I had the buckle leather boots from the ss season in 43 and they are super comfy but that's maybe because of the kind of leather.

Kinda hard to tell with the really small pics, but it looks to be about the same fit as expected - kinda boxy. From what I can see it looks to fit you pretty well, and tbh 2cm's in the body won't really make a huge difference in the silhouette but it might affect how tight it feels. If the leather isn't skin tight then it really won't stretch too much.

All being said, if you are paying $5000 for a leather jacket you better be feeling like the fucking king of the badasses, there should be absolutely no second guessing. If it were me I would try the 42 and it doesn't work out just ditch the idea, it's not worth the price to be "meh" over. There are plenty of options out there that might not have the same buttery leather, but a better fit.  :)
